Thought For The Day 6/13/22

Whitehall NY is the birthplace of the US Navy. Except for a sign that states that, you’d never know there was any connection with the Navy. Whitehall is a typical northeast village,empty buildings & in need of help. What if the Navy rehabilitated a large building, with a Naval recruitment center, a summer home for the Navy band,(working with local high schools to do summer music camps), a program for the Navy Seabees working with local trade programs like High School Bocees or Hudson Valley Community College trade programs. This could breath new life into the birthplace of the US Navy, and provide young people with a career path they may not have thought of. God Bless AMERICA!
