Thought For The Day 8/27/25

As we head toward Labor Day, a reminder of what God said…”If a man won’t work he shouldn’t eat…” He didn’t say if he can’t work, he said if he won’t work! I’ve known veterans with no legs, missing arms& damaged in a million ways, rolling their wheelchairs into work each day. I’ve got a 24-year-old special needs student who rides his bike (in rain, snow, whatever) at 10pm, 20 minutes to work at a Cumberland Farms store to work the overnight shift. He works at a pizza shop 20 hours per week, too! He just got his driver's license & paid cash for a 2004 pickup truck. So today I’d like to say thank you to America's workers. You’re the reason America is great. And to those of you who think it’s ok to game the system & let the rest of us support you, I hope you repent & apologize to God & the American people, who work way too many hours while you get a free ride. There is no FREE lunch!
