As the Derek Chauvin case goes to trial, let’s not confuse feelings with facts; George Floyd is a criminal. He has a criminal history. He was robbing a store owner who asked the police for help from a very large individual who he felt was threatening his health & welfare. Should Derek Chapin have kneeled on his neck for 8 minutes; NO! But this is a technique taught to officers to restrain a large individual. Police officers are spit on, hit, and many suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome. I recommend a mental institution to deal with the trauma & 3 years of supervised probation with community service. It has not been released as to whether Floyd died from the drugs in his system or a pre-existing condition. As the Derek Chauvin case goes to trial let’s all stay calm!
