Thought For The Day 3/8/21

Today is the international day of women. The world is talking about Cardi B and other women I don’t care about. How about mother Teresa, who left a comfortable life to deal with vomit, aids, raw sewage & more to love people with no hope, In Jesus name? Or how about my grandmother Teresa (Patton) Dagle who saw her brother Johnnie killed in Flanders fields in WWI & then watched her cousin,( General George patton) remind the Germans that killing people is not OK?! Or my mom,(and your mom), who ate the leftovers off our plates & skipped buying a new dress to buy her little kids new underwear. Let’s salute women, not air head pop stars, but real women that have shaped all of our lives. It’s the international day of women....thanks mom!
