If I never hear someone say,”We’re in this together, social distancing,” or a dozen other propaganda phrases, it will be too soon. Quite honestly, if I fell down on the sidewalk in downtown Manhattan, most people would step over me. When someone witnesses a gang banger shoot somebody, they almost always say they don’t want to get involved. So what’s with this...”We’re in this together!” I’m an optimist but also a realist. America will come back, we won’t be perfect, but we’ll still be the best option in the world. Short people will still feel abused by tall people, chunky people will still resent skinny people that can eat whatever they want, & the Irish, Hispanics & those of various ethnic groups will feel left out because we don’t have a Royal family,(thank God!)
