Thought Of The Day For 5/26/20

Never Forget

I was blessed to hear stories of World War 1 from men who fought there. In the 1950’s I heard from men who were @ D-Day, battle of the bulge, African & Japanese campaigns, It was amazing to hear these fresh memories of horror and bravery. Then men freezing in Korea as waves of Chinese soldiers kept coming and coming. My friends and classmates get the word that they were drafted, and off to the jungles of Vietnam, some to never return. Granada, Desert storm, Iraq, Afghanistan, and where ever, and whenever our Freedom is threaten Americans have paid the ultimate price. Thank you to the mothers, fathers, brothers& sisters who never got to say goodbye. Thank you for enduring the hurt that never heals. Thank you from a grateful nation. I pray we will never forget from Bunker hill to Gettysburg to today. I will never forget. Thank you!
