Thought Of The Day for 6/16/20

The blind leading the blind.

Jesus said that if the blind lead the blind, they both fall in the ditch. I’m watching the protesters on TV, and I see high school & college age kids who’ve been locked up for the last 11 weeks, they are looking for something to do. They’ve been led their entire life by teachers,(not much older than themselves), who have filled their heads with everything but facts. I remember telling a high school senior that maybe he could buy the land next to his parents to build a house. He began screaming Noooo! We don’t need to cut anymore trees, we’re already overpopulated!!!!!! Guess where he got that propaganda? I wonder if his teacher is happy about Covid-19 ‘thinning out the herd?” The Bible talks about a young king rejecting the advice from older wiser men & listening to young people his own age...you can read how that worked out for him. I think young people have great potential, and need to be led by older wiser people who have lived through a few things. Will they listen to us or the blind?
